We are alive! :)

I have been told that I need to update my blog :) I promise I haven't forgotten about it, but I had such bad morning sickness that about all I could think of was getting through each day. I have finally had 2 days that I felt well enough to be really productive and there were many things needing my attention more badly than the blog did :). Here I am at long last . . .

David and I are getting ready to make the long 30 hour (2,000 mi) drive to Arizona! We'll be leaving Christmas Eve and arriving (Lord willing) late evening on Christmas day. We plan to be there for one week-- helping care for the kiddos and enjoying the time with family. This is the only week that David has off work, so we're going when we can! It should be quite an adventure to make that drive together, but since its just the two of us it should be fun and relatively smooth ;-) Please do pray that I don't have any health problems while we are on the road.

Unfortunately we didn't get any pictures of our little Christmas celebration that we had the other night, but I do have lots of pictures from Thanksgiving break, so that's what you get to see. Most of these pictures are from our Thanksgiving Dinner at U. Mark and A. Linda's. The day after Thanksgiving we took Andrew and Meagan to Jones Gap and did a little hiking then went to Cracker Barrel for dinner. On Saturday of that week we bought and put up our tree!!Hopefully we'll have lots of pictures from our trip that we can post when we get back.

We wish you all a very merry Christmas rejoicing in all the glories of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!!!

  1. Thanks so much for the pics!!! We enjoyed them very much! Will look forward to hearing about your trip when you get back. We are about to float away over here-not really but SE QLD has had the worst floods in a 60- year period down there. They have evacuated 2 whole towns. Bundaberg has water about 2/3 up the walls in some places. We are thankful for the Lord's provision for us here. TTYL.

    Love, Mum
